Foundation period (29th October 1916 to 1930)
During the time of General Amar Singh Thapa, a war occurred between the Gorkhali army and the British forces near Maloun Fort in Himachal Pradesh. Despite the Gorkhali warriors' valiant efforts, they couldn't defeat the powerful enemy side.
